Presentation Logic

This page has a hierarchical structure: a new selection made in any displayed table results in an update of all content below the table. Upon selection of a specific physical property from the following table, the browser displays the list of binary systems for which the selected property is available. Selection of a specific binary system shows the list of available datasets. Finally, selection of a specific dataset presents a detailed data summary at the bottom of the page.

Title:

Activity Coefficients at Infinite Dilution of Polar Solutes in 1-Propyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium Tetrafluoroborate Using Gas Liquid Chromatography
Keywords:

Abstract:

Activity coefficients at infinite dilution Ai of 17 polar solutes (linear and branched C1 to C5 alcohols, acetonitrile, acetone, 1,4-dioxane, tetrahydrofuran, ethyl acetate, and chloromethanes) in the ionic liquid 1-propyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([PDMIM][BF4]) have been measured by the gas-liquid chromatographic method with the ionic liquid as the stationary phase. The measurements were carried out in the temperature range of (303.15 to 363.15) K. The partial molar excess enthalpies at infinite dilution Hi E, of the solutes in the ionic liquid were also derived from the temperature dependence of the A values.
